Best Vacation Ever!

We had never been on a cruise before and had heard great things about the Viking River Cruises in Europe, so we booked our Rhine River cruise to coincide with the Tulip Festival in Amsterdam and our 30 year wedding anniversary. Everything we had heard about and even more was true. The entire crew of the Viking Lofn gave each passenger first class treatment. We were so impressed with the quality of everything about this cruise. The guides on the excursions were so knowledgeable and informative, helping us to understand and appreciate every stop along the way! We celebrated our anniversary in Rudesheim, then came back to our cabin to find flowers and champagne and a lovely anniversary note from the staff. Because we could sit anywhere we wanted at meals, we were able to meet so many wonderful people with whom we still stay in contact. The final two days in the breathtakingly beautiful Lucerne, Switzerland were among our best memories. What a way to end the most glorious couple of weeks. To put it simply - we had the best time!!!
