Third year in a row we've been trying to take this cruise, but couldn't due to scheduling conflicts. Absolutely great cruise. The Regal Princess is still in great shape, and looked it. Constant upkeep throughout the whole cruise. Crews were doing exterior hull painting before we even disembarked in Halifax. Halifax: Easy disembarkation. In port with the Caribbean Princess. Easy access to our private tour right out front of Terminal 22. If you want a good local beer, due yourself a favor and skip Garrison Brewing and walk down Water Street to Alexander Keith's. Saint John: Again, easy disembarkation, right in town. Late night here, so we had both lunch and dinner off the ship. Caribbean Princess with us again. Last cruises of the season, so many bargains in the local shops to be had. Sea days were great as always. Smooth, calm seas and pleasant temps for this time of year. We felt that the whole crew were in their grove, so to speak, as service was really good throughout the ship for the whole cruise. Captain Tim Stringer commanding. Seas were extremely smooth for this time of year, and weather was perfect. We had a "sideways" interior, A419, located mid ship. Great location and easy access to center stairs. Food was great, both in the dining room and the Horizon Court. International Café had some great selections everyday. As always, had our embarkation lunch at Alfredo's, outstanding as always and quiet and uncrowded. Last night of the cruise, we were fortunate to catch a performance of the Princess Rock Orchestra in the Piazza. They were outstanding! If you see a performance listed in the Patter, make sure you go, assuming of course you like Rock- n- Roll. Looking forward to at least one more cruise on the Regal before she leaves the east coast late next year.

Cabin Review

Cabin IB
Great "sideways" interior located almost exactly mid ship. Easy access to center stairs, and, as many people know, actually more interior space than a standard balcony. Stateroom was in great shape, with new bed and larger, upgraded TV. No regrets not having a balcony. Used the money saved for Lobster Rolls!
