Everyone who had been on the river cruises raved about them, so we combined that with our desire to explore the Mediterranean. The combination of a cruise that visited the cities we wanted to see with the luxury of the ship made this a memorable vacation. Monaco, Corfu, Dubrovnik and Venice were highlights, the weather was two weeks of sunny perfection and the at-sea day gave us a chance to enjoy the pools, spa, tea time and our veranda to maximum extent. The meals that coincided with our destinations were a delightful surprise, and the reservation-restaurants were extraordinary.

Also enjoyed the nourishing Freyja hair and body products, the ice room at the spa, the grill with burgers, long hot dogs and super Reuben sandwiches. The excursions generally featured knowledgeable guides who provided historical, educational information. Would have liked the included excursions to be longer and feature more of the sites we wanted to visit, rather than be expansive additional tours. Also enjoyed the Port Talks, table games and evening entertainment.
