I have been on 21 cruises and my daughter, now a young teen, has already been on 5. I will preface this by saying she had a great time, met about 25 other teens from the NY/NJ area and made some very good friends. But there was no place for them to go. They are not allowed into the disco after 11pm, nor can they go to the promenade cafe after 1am, so from about 10pm on, they would congregate on open decks on chaise lounges.

This was our first time on RCCL, and I had already toured the Voyager of the seas, and had been duly impressed with the size and layout and cabin sizes, therefore, decided to try it. Also, I should mention that my daughter ordered daiquiris and colodas and assumed they would be "virgin" and they came with liquor in them, and she is only 14. My cabin was very nice, a good size, plenty of cubby/closet space and the bathroom was adequate, with shelves on both sides of the mirror. The balcony was also good. Room service was awful. It would take at least 45 minutes and sometimes brought the wrong items. One evening about midnight, I decided to order a cheese tray and a cookie platter was delivered. Upon requesting a change, they told me it would take about an hour, so I told them to forget it. The cabin steward was not the best; would forget to replace our beach/pool towels and would have to locate him to get them. No chocolates were left on our pillows the first 3 nites. The cabin was never dusted.

FOOD: was not good. Celebrity had wonderful meals and so did Princess. The food here had quite a good variety but was not prepared well. Was either tasteless or made crazy. For instance, I ordered shrimp scampi, and it came with the shells on. Although our Asst. Waiter (who was wonderful, as was our waiter)came over to remove the shell, it was then just like boiled shrimp, since the seasoning was only on the shell. There was no garlic sauce and the pasta only had melted butter on it.
