Have always wanted to see this part of the world and this cruise gave me a sample of several countries. I have taken and loved 4 Viking River cruises and this Viking Homeland Ocean Cruise did not disappoint. The food, cabins, crew and service and most of the included tours were great. One disappointment was the fact that we only got 1 reservation in each of the special restaurants. I know that is done by cabin level. Everyone said it wouldn’t be a problem to book more after we got on the ship, but we were always told no vacancies, even though we could see empty tables later in the evening. Easy embarkation and disembarkation. I wish Viking would stop handing out plastic water bottles. Too much plastic in our world. I would like for them to give each passenger a container that could be filled and taken instead of the plastic.

Cabin Review

Cabin was very nice. Beds are very comfy. Refrigerator and coffee maker nice to have. Balcony was great but weather for us was a little too cool to use. Closet and drawer space was good for us. Loved the bathroom. Loved loved loved the 2 drawers in bathroom.
