We chose the cruise to see family in new York, Visit "beautiful" |||| New England and travel on a fantastic looking ship at what we thought a reasonable price.
Embarkation wasnt too bad considering the number of people but disembarcation horrendous. I dont know if it was better if you had pre booked one of their final destination tours or their airport transport but as our travel agent had prebooked us a private pickup we expected it to be like an airport where there are pickup points or welcome centres. No way complete chious.. 4,500 people trying to find out where to go as we all had to be off the ship by 10.30 latest by timed exits. We landed up on pavements across a busy road with hundreds of other confused people trying to find their pickups. With no phone and after 30 mins we were quite distressed and ready to book our own taxi when we spotted someone with our name.
Wonderful modern ship but too big to cope with so many people and although reasonably priced.its all about getting money from you. Overpiriced drinks, meals and tours. Luckily we had an easy drinks package which sufficed and did our own thing on shore as to be honest rhere isnt much to see or do in the small towns and countryside.
