We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. It is a great way to get a taste of the Greek Islands and Croatia. Would definitely come back and spend a few days in a couple of the destinations. The Norwegian Star is a nice ship with recent upgrades. Our mini suite cabin and spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of storage for our family of 3. We have sailed with Norwegian before, and were disappointed this cruise with the half hearted service we received in the dining rooms and also our cabin steward. Several times we returned in the afternoon after a tour in port to find our cabin was not made up. This also happened with the turn down service at night. One night we had to hunt our cabin stewart down to find pillows that for some reason were removed from the cabin. Another night there were only 2 bath towels in the room, after 2 requests for additional towel, we went to the pool and got one there. Not the service we paid for. The restaurants were also an issue, the service was extremely slow, and one night we ordered desert and coffee after dinner and received the desert, no coffee. We received the coffee after we finished desert and than had to request milk and sugar which arrived about 10 mins later. We left at that point because the coffee was cold. The food was average not great, not awful. Will look for other options for next cruise as I think NCL needs some improvements.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin was very comfortable and spacious for our family of 3. There was plenty of storage.

Port Reviews

Argostoli (Kefalonia)

Went to Argostoli and did the lake and stop in a beach resort for Wine and appetizers. The tour was very nice, but our ship was leaving 1/2 hour earlier than they normally do, so it seemed very rushed.
