Cabin: Interior

We have been to many of the stops on this cruise, but the price was right and we have wanted to see the fall colors. Plus it gave us a chance to see the Atlantic Provinces of PEI and Nova Scotia. The colors did not disappoint although we missed Bar Harbor and St. John due to a storm that blew in while we were in port in Boston.

We did none of the Princess offered tours (I'm just not into herding cats on busloads of people).

The ship itself was quite nice. A recent refurbishment, plus the addition of the Medallion system made the sea days very enjoyable. It is a large ship and things can get quite crowded when it is full, but we always seemed to find a place for a quiet interlude if we wanted to.

Cabin Review

Interior

This is a very nice Interior cabin. The location is quiet and the cabin itself is well maintained. We had the queen bed configuration and the room around the bed seemed adequate for both of us. As with all these cabins, the bathroom area is small and tight.

One thing we noticed was the removal of the small table that is usually in the Interior cabins on Princess. Thank goodness! WE usually ask the steward to remove it anyway as it just gets in the way!

Port Reviews

Newport

WE took the local bus transport to the Mansions and toured two of them on our own

Boston

We've been to Boston before, so chose to visit the State House and take the the tour there this time. We walked a bit on our own.
