My wife and I are both Diamond Plus and been on the Mariner 9 times since it came to Port Canaveral. We have 6 additional cruises on the Mariner that we canceled. We thought things would get better especially after all of our constructive input and complaints to Corporate. The Mariner has numerous safety and health issues that the ships senior management turns a blind eye too. The Mariner also has serious environmental issues and poor air quality and ventilation; especially in and around the Casino. The Mariner does not recognize Diamond and Diamond Plus elite cruisers. This is a total insult to those who have been Loyal to Royal. I spoke with many crew members in housekeeping, food and beverage, dining room, and restaurants; and all have told me it is a punishment to be part of the overall crew of the Mariner. They all agree management is not supportive and treat crew members like cattle; so therefore it seems like passengers are also treated like cattle. If you are an experienced cruiser or a first time cruiser avoid the Mariner of the Seas from Port Canaveral.

Junior Suite Accessible

Nice walk-in closet and balcony. The sink constantly leaked and the carpet was sticky; perhaps a previous guest spilled a soda.
