Chose this to celebrate anniversary. Cruised with Princess in 1983 (original Love Boat) and interested to see how things have changed. Very nice ship - took a while to get the layout but like it. Cabin was good - what we expected. Food in dining room was good - lots to choose from - waiters were exceptional. Entertainment was good if you like the type of thing that what was presented. Shore excursions are very overpriced. Can get the same tours on shore for as much as 1/2 price and have the option to stop and go at your leisure - don't have to follow the crowd.. Shore excursion descriptions and cost are available but information on ports (maps and historical landmarks) are not available until 5pm the night before arriving and shore excursion desk closes at 6pm. Missed 2 ports due to high winds. Commend the captain for making this decision for the safety of all. Overall would recommend this cruise and Princess.
