We have taken several Pacific Coastal cruises. We really like the itinerary since we live in the LA area.
The embarkation is the worst I have ever seen. We spent several hours in the Canada Place terminal. We arrived 30 minutes before the start of check-in (18:30). It was 20:45 when we finally got on board. We spent most of the time standing on our feet in a line to be admitted to the check-in area.
The Bliss is a really nice new ship. The layout is very similar to the Escape. It is very easy to find the dining and entertainment venues as most of them are concentrated on decks 6-8.
We had an inside cabin that sleeps 3. The upper bead is folded up and we have the 2 beds pushed together. The folded upper bed really restricts access to one side of the bed.
This is a really nice city. We saw Granville Island, Capilano Suspension Bridge, and Vancouver Lookout.
Great port. We toured on our own using readily available public transit. We sat Butchart Gardens and Craigdarroch Castle.
SF is a great city. We toured on our own using public transit. We visited Sausalito via ferry. We used the Muni system to get around. We planned to visit Coit tower but NCL made that impossible by delaying us.
