We chose this cruise to be a relaxing time with friends. Because we had been to most of the ports before, we did not book any ship excursions. This was our third cruise on the Crown and the most disappointing. The ship is badly in need of a thorough overall updating . Embarkation was a breeze and we did the walk off disembarkation with no problems.
Entertainment was hit and miss. We did not enjoy most of the shows in the Princess Theater (way too loud!), although there were a couple of good individual performers.
Popular shows in Explorer were always full and it was difficult to find a seat. Overall entertainment was "so so." Went to a couple of presentations on the various islands, but although the presenter had a wealth of knowledge, he seemed to struggle to present it.
Cabin Review
Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin was clean, but the couch was very worn out. Bathroom was fairly clean, but had cracks in both the shower floor and on the counter. There was what looked like mold in the track that held the shower curtain. Great cabin steward - Mevin.
