Great cruise itinerary, we saw lots of places but would have loved some more time in almost every port. If you choose do do this cruise in fall be prepared for cold and rain, had a few miserable weather days but plenty of ok days too. Due to the weather very limited use of many of the cruise amenities such as pool, water slides, ropes course and rock wall. Our room came with access to the thermal suites which we utilized to warm up every day after our excursions and would be well worth the cost if traveling at this time of year.

Embarkation went quickly and we were able to board the ship almost immediately. Rooms were ready in about the expected time. Disembarkation went similarly smoothly with the only exception being they started calling groups more than a half hour before the estimated exit time which did cause a little unnecessary stress.

On the port days we also ran into several issues where the shore excursions dropped us into the cities an hour or more before anything opened. Also due to the season several attractions were closed or being renovated. We were still able to have a good time in each port. For Helsinki and Stockholm we booked the hop-on-hop-off buses but didn't use them very much once we made it to the city as we were able to walk to our destinations faster. In Estonia we opted for a guided tour but did feel a bit like we didn't see anything (maybe it was just due to the terrible weather). The two days in St. Petersburg was very nice but its important to note that most visitors must go with a tour unless they obtain a visa prior, we felt like it may have been worth the cost/effort to get our own visa as the port had lots of things to explore and the tours all felt a bit rushed and crowded.

Cabin Review

Spa Balcony Stateroom

perfect size and location. far enough from the elevator to be quiet but not too far to trek. Spa was an easy jaunt up. Plenty of space for our whole 2 weeks worth of clothes and luggage. Would have been tight with more guest though.
