This was our 20th anniversary and we have been planning on doing Hawaii all this time. When we found out about the Pride of America and it's ports we decided it would be the best and most economical ways of getting the most out of our vacation. We had a 10th deck balcony cabin and it was perfect. Our cabin steward was our Hero for the week. We almost always eat in the dining room when we are on a cruise and we did here most of the week. The food was good but the menu did not change much from night to night so there was not much of a variety in choices. The buffet was ok, I don't like buffets so that skews my review.

We did notice some discontentment in the employees working the buffet and that reflected in the job they did. Outside of that all the other people were nice and professional giving top notch service. We loved all the shows that were done in the Hollywood theater. all the excursions we did were through NCL and we did not have any complaints about any of them. I have found that the excursion guides think that they need to talk a lot more than they do on any cruise. There was just the two of us and we are seniors who still work full time so we were looking for short duration so that there would still be time to relax and rest. I would travel with NCL again if the occasion arises, We enjoy cruising!. The only thing not enjoyable was the long flights but hey, its a long way to Hawaii!

Honolulu

We arrived a day early and stayed at the Waikiki Hilton which was a very pleasant hotel. We at at Cheeseburger in Paradise and it was wonderful. A walk at the beach and our day was done.
