We chose this cruise because we wanted to try Norwegian, specifically the Haven area. We were not disappointed, The Haven was a wonderful respite from the excitement and crowds of the main areas of the ship. The ship is very well designed, with lots of smaller spaces so you don't always feel like your with 4000 people. We really liked the Observation Lounge on 15, a beautiful space with a nice bar and food served (buffet style) daily. There are two musicals being presented on the ship Jersey Boys and Six, we thoroughly enjoyed them both. We also enjoyed the Beatles tribute band Britain's Finest. Can't really say much about the shore excursions because we only did the bus tour in Puerta Vallarta, Maztatlan was rained out and we did our own thing in Cabo.
I have to mention the service on the ship, it was excellent, almost seemed like there was a competition between the employees as to who could be the nicest.
We ate in 3 specialty restaurants, Cagney Steakhouse which was very good and if you want to try it you need to make a reservation before you get on the ship. We also tried Ocean Blue which we enjoyed, it was probably our favorite, had a really nice waitress, I'm sorry I can't remember her name. The other was the Italian restaurant, La Cucina also really good.
Our cabin was beautiful with a large balcony, more than enough storage space, the bed was very comfortable, I think being forward on the ship I felt more rocking but it didn't bother me at all. The bathroom was spacious for a cruise ship with double sinks and a privacy toilet.
Interesting trip around the city, it was just too long more than 4 hours.
Very pretty views, we walked around the pier area and downtown, just didn't like the constant sales pitches for various goods and services.
