We just got off this 5 day cruise.
The staff is so good and friendly. They treat you well everywhere you go. You can tell that this is a well run ship that stresses customer service.
I never noticed the rust or the oldness, the ship is clean and well taken care of despite the oldness of the ship.
This is our first Royal cruise after 5 on Carnival, I thought they were about the same although I think Royal does more upcharge type stuff then Carnival.
The room was clean and the service was good.
The dining room was good food and the service top notch.
We really didnt eat in the Windjammer but once and it was okay. The little nook where you get pizza in the solarium was very good.
The solarium area was good for adults although it did need better ventilation some how. It gets very humid in there.
Overall the ship is good but based on past cruises it was a little small for how we like to cruise.
Changing our port day to Progreso was not good, while the town is fine the setup to get to the beach is not, and the constant vendors drive you crazy.
Overall we would do this again now that we know what to expect. The staff makes this a great little ship.
Its a good room for two
