I went on the seaside previously and it was much better than it is now. The previous review I read pretty much summarized it... CONS -ports of call times were poorly thought out and not conducive to actually seeing anything -buffet food was same every day and night -dinner food was ok, but all cuts of meat were the cheapest and layered in fast and gristle -unlimited photo plan is a joke, they didn't take any pictures at ports, and opened up the on ship booths while we were at dinner every night. and now, they have lost my pictures and no one from msc is getting back to me. Now I know why I waited on hold 30 mins just to get a room upgrade, too many customers calling in to complain. -room was falling apart and bed was hard as a rock. Shower leaked and water would randomly go cold or burning hot in the middle of the shower. Closet door piece broke off. -MSC App was badly designed. Hard to maneuver through, cut out constantly and no notifications for chat when with families. Bring your iphones, you can just text on there. -Room service so severely limited, offered like 4 wraps and a cookie and everything else you had to pay for. PROS -Room steward was excellent. -Food staff was kind, friendly, and accommodating. -Kids staff were friendly and they had plenty of activities (for kids >3). -Cruise critic meet and greet was brief but had good drinks and food. -Shows were good but very much the same thing every night just to different music. Showtimes were good and could be easily worked around dinners. MIXED -Original ship price was reasonable, but then paying $500 to get a room when my 3 year old isn't on a top bunk bed is ridiculous. -Continental breakfast came 30 mins early nearly every day, but food was ok. Unpaid offering limited, as with everything room service related on this boat. -Deck layout. Who puts a buffet restaurant on a floor that is half locked off to yacht club? So many times I had to go up a floor, go across and go back down (dumb). Not many open areas like royal, so you def feel like you are on a ship all the time.

Cabin Review

Fantastica Balcony Stateroom
Cabin B2
Room was falling apart and bed was hard as a rock. Shower leaked and water would randomly go cold or burning hot in the middle of the shower. Closet door piece broke off.

Size was about average for a balcony room. Storage was reasonable.

Room steward was excellent and always on top of things and trying to make my stay better.
