I choose this cruise because finally a newer larger ship was being moved to the West Coast (LA) Our friends and family that were traveling with us including my husband and I had never been on one of the larger ships. Also it was 10 days and went to a new port Loreto and the Sea of Cortez.

It was a great itinerary and a beautiful ship. Only problem was they moved our room without any notification to us or to our TA. Down four floors and from Port to Starboard. See my comments below.

We loved the entertainment, best I've seen on a Princess ship, good guest entertainers as well.

We booked this cruise one and a half years out. We booked room number R508, Port which we prefer on the Mexican Rivera and close to our friends and family.. When I printed my luggage tags a week early they showed room R508. Two days before the cruise I printed two additional luggage tags and they showed room C519-Starboard. Princess moved our room without any notification to us or our TA!!! The mail and gifts coming to the room were all addressed to different people. Our gifts and mail nowhere in sight! When I took the mail with all the different names to the purser she gave it back to me and advised I should give it to our room steward!! She did nothing to address the problem of why we were moved in the first place! I've cruised with Princess since 1984 and never had one complaint! Now we are highly disappointed that no one is taking responsibility for this or acknowledging our frustration. Next cruise Celebrity already booked.
