Departure : Singapore Marina Bay Cruise Centre

Port(s) of call : Port Klang

Type of Cruise : 4D3N Port Klang Getaway

Departure went smoothly for us, the x-ray process was fast, thanks to the help of Marina Bay Cruise Centre Staff apart from RCL staff. The check-in process was also rather fast and immigration was smooth.

Cruise Overall :

A very modern and new ship, most guests were Singaporeans and all staff were English speaking. All activities were conducted in English and my family got to enjoy most of them.

iFly, North Star and Sky Pad were free, this was reasonable for the price we needed to pay. Gym was rather small, always crowded, that is one bad point. Pools were crowded most of the time; can hardly swim. Indoor pool was surprisingly warm. Service was good, I would like to commend our Stateroom Attendant on Deck 10 for caring for us, like we are the only guests on the ship. I am very thankful for him and gave him tips. Staff was friendly overall and assisted us in anything we needed. There are limited bingo activities, there are lots of karaoke and dancing activities, there is also a morning trivia on all mornings except the last day. Shows were awesome. First night was "The Aussie Boys" , starring 3 Aussie boys dancing and performing. Was perfect and entertaining. Second night was Showgirl. Past. Present. Future. Overall enjoyed Showgirl as well as lots of talented singers and dancers come together to perform a spectacular performance. Last night we watched the Silk Road. Storyline a little messy but love the visual effects and robotic screens.

Food was nice with a good selection of Asian and Western cuisine, all food was served at warm temperatures, soup was hot enough. dined mainly in the MDR for dinner, Windjammer for Breakfast and Lunch, Cafe270 or Sorrento's for supper. Two70 is a good and quiet place to relax and rejuvenate if you feel tired.

Stayed in a Interior with Virtual Balcony on Deck 10. Was pretty cosy and pretty ok, offering RCL new Virtual Balcony design, gives real time sea views and saves money. Not recommended if you do not like small spaces and like to have more freedom.

Did not go for shore excursions and did not go out at the only port

Cabin Review

Interior with Virtual Balcony

Cabin was great. Do not recommend if you hate small spaces and want freedom. These small rooms are dark and offers a virtual view (Note : In a opposite direction). Recommend a balcony cabin if you want some freedom
