We chose this cruise because we were interested in the changing leaves in Canada, plus it went to the Canadian Maritime Provence's which we had never visited before. Those were the ports that were eliminated, and were the primary reason we had selected this cruise.

Silver Seas withheld information that the reason for the delay was that on the inbound, the captain had run the ship aground and broken the rudder. It took several days to make the repair. My husband and I finally got off the ship in Montreal and flew back home (at our own expense -- Silver Seas would not reimburse us for that).

Our room was very nice and our room attendant and butler were both outstanding. They did everything they could to make this a great experience for us. The food was great, service in the restaurant was outstanding. We did not have the opportunity to go to any of the entertainment shows.

Cabin was nice, service was excellent, food was very good. It looked like it was going to be a very nice cruise. Everything was outstanding except for the non-cruise itself!
