Norwegian Epic Cruise Review by Mclff6
- Sail Date: October 2019
- Destination: Western Mediterranean
- Cabin Type: Mid-Ship Balcony
We had dinner at the Manhattan Restaurant on our first night, and the food was mediocre at best. Also portions were small. In fact we found this to be the case in all the free restaurants on board. Sometimes we found it necessary to order two entrees.
We had a cabin with a large balcony which was fine, but the bed was very uncomfortable.
Because of high winds we were unable to dock in Livorno, so the shore excursion to Florence was cancelled.
When we reached Cannes, we went on an excursion called Scenic Golden Corniche & St. Raphael. This involved a long boring bus ride to St. Raphael where we were allowed to stay for just 45 minutes. No time to do or see anything worthwhile.
The best excursion we had was from Palma to a lovely small town called Valldemosa.
The entertainment on board was excellent, especially the Beatles Tribute, and Burn the Floor.
I doubt if we would book with Norwegian cruise line again.
