This cruise was going to Amsterdam, Norway, Iceland and Ireland. Iceland was the important stop for us, but the others were exciting as well! This cruise definitely did not deliver. Hurricane Lorenzo caused weather issues. Instead of communicating those issues to us ahead of time, giving us time to reschedule or cancel planned shore excursions and tours, Norwegian waiting until the last minute (under 24 hours) to tell us that things were canceled. The food was not good and there where many issues with the bathrooms across the ship. Sewage could often be smelled in public areas. We were on the ship for 5 unplanned sea days and were happy when it was over! We have been offered no refunds or any other compensation for all that we missed out on and experienced. I will never sail Norwegian again. People were protesting in the lobby, the customer service was abysmal and we lost out on many great experiences because Norwegian couldn't be bothered to plan ahead correctly. Think I'm kidding, Google "Norwegian Spirit" and see the news articles that come up! It was bad enough that we were on all the news sites!

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin was for 4 people and it was definitely not large enough for 4 people! Impossible to move around when everyone was there. We had to take turns on who could be in the room. Would have been fine for younger people, but we had older ladies with us and it was super hard on them.

Port Reviews

Bergen

Bergen was amazing and we explored on our own.

Flam

Flam was beautiful, but easily walked in one or two hours. We went up the mountain on a private tour to see the fjord. The scenery is breathtaking.

Geiranger

Geiranger was another Flam. Scenery was beautiful, but small and easily walked. We took a private tour up the fjord.

Belfast

Belfast was amazing and we explored on our own. Could have spent a much longer time there.

Dublin

Dublin was wonderful. We explored on our own and could have spent much more time there. The Book of Kells at Trinity is not to be missed!
