We wanted to cruise the Mediterranean to visit countries we have never been to, leaving from Barcelona where we have friends. We enjoyed everything, particularly the services on the ship and the professionalism of the crew. Each day gave us an opportunity to do new things on the ship: walking around the top deck at night, swimming in one of the pools between sunning during the day, taking in shows and enjoying top quality food at the many on board restaurants.
We participated in shore excursions that we organized ahead of time. They gave us a taste of Italy and the French Riviera, making us want to visit some cities again for a longer time.
The choice of activities onboard is extensive with something for everyone. We particularly appreciated our first two days at sea so that we explore the ship, as well as the afternoon arrival in Palma that allowed us to take our time to prepare to leave the next day. Dt

Hop on hop off - city tour from port terminal. Great overview of the city. Enjoyed the tour through the city on the red line Luoghi dell'Arte. We were lucky to be able to stay on the same bus for the blue line tour Le Vedutte del Golfo. The city has amazing buildings dotting throughout and scenic views from the hilltops and bridges. The costal tour offers a view of the sea and of amazing homes and castles along the sea.View All 77 City Tour Reviews
Tour bus met us at the terminal forgthe drive to Pisa through the Tuscan countryside. Our guide Stefania was knowledgeable about the area and her pride in being a daughter of Tuscany was engaging. The stop in Pisa was worth the side trip if onky oncevin a lifetime. The square where the tower, cathedral and the baptisery are is stunning. It is unfortunate that very little of the old town has been preserved other than this square. The drive to Florence was a good interlude befire beginning the walking tour in this beautiful and magical city. We were enchanted by the historical area Piazza del Duomo and the Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio, where we had time for a quick lunch and some shopping. The last stop on the tour wasthe square of Santa Croce. We are hoping to return to Florence for a more in depth visit to the Ufizzi Museum and other sites.View All 274 Florence & Pisa Tour Reviews
The bus from the pier to Downtown Majorca is worth the $15 fare because of the long walk and the short time we had 1-6 pm. Visit the Cathedral with access via the adjacent museum.
Driver/guide met as at the port after a short boat ride from the ship. We headed out of Cannes, via the main highway towards Eze. Our driver/guide was very engaging with the 8 passengers, asking about us and also sharing knowledge of the area. At stops in Eze, the Fragonard prrfume factory, Monaco and Monte Carlo, she pointed out things to see durung our independant walking tour. Given the compact sites and despite the number of fellow visitors, we were able to see points of jnterest to us at our leisure. The midsize van was cramped with 8 passengers + the driver/guide. It would have been kore relaxing for all if only 6 passengers had been aboard.View All 27 Monaco & Village of Eze Reviews
