We chose this cruise to hopefully catch some great fall colors and - perhaps - the Northern Lights. We got one out of two! Colors were gorgeous, especially in Canada. We took our daughter and her husband with us and had a delightful time with them! Embarkation was amazingly smooth - probably a function of not trying to get on board as early as possible, like we usually do! Really enjoyed the ports and the on board entertainment. Dining room food was a bit below Princess' normally high standards. Cruising through sub-tropical storm Melissa was probably a once-in-a-lifetime experience that the ship and captain handled amazingly well - making it actually an exciting experience, rather than scary. Although this itinerary is not one I would repeat (unlike others we have taken), I am delighted that we had the opportunity to see a part of the Northeast we had not previously experienced. Peggy's Cove and the Reversing Rapids were especially amazing!
