We chose this cruise for the chance to go to Nevis, the sister island to St Kitts. It’s really bigger than we like. As Diamond members, it was especially disappointing. the happy hour was in a dismal room on the 4th deck “Blazes” — we much prefer a lounge where you can view the sunset. Alas, the Allure doesn’t have one. The main dining room was one of the redeeming qualities. Food was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our table mates were very enjoyable. One major caveat: Deck 7 dead ends at the rear of the ship. If you use the wrong elevator, you have to go up or down a floor to cross from port to starboard. This ship also used the make a reservation system to spread out the audiences among the various entertainment venues on different nights. This was the first time we encountered this system and had no idea how it worked. Made planning for the week more difficult. The app listed events day by day, when a weekly view would have been so much quicker and relevant.

Picked this cruise for itinerary, not the ship

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony
Cabin 4D
Cabin was decent sized, seemed a little more spacious than other ships. But the cabin storage was light on drawers and heavy on shelves.

BEWARE that Deck 7 at the aft end of the ship does not connect between port and starboard sides. If you take the wrong elevator, you can’t get across. This dead end is a pain in the neck. Very surprised the deck plan doesn’t allow you to promenade around the deck.
