We went on a cruise from Boston to Bermuda from July 19 through July 26, 2019. We had an air conditioner leaking on our bed for three days. Customer service tried to say they attempted to fix it but I had to the do not disturb sign on, which was a complete fabrication. While in port in Bermuda they were polyurethanIng. my room through the air-conditioning vent, got flooded with the fumes and woke us up out of a sound sleep having a headache, dizziness and nausea. When we complained and asked for a place that we could go to rest our head until we felt better we were told to wait in the common area in front of customer service where there is a bar and they show movies of prior nights functions and/or just movies in general. Customer service had absolutely no care about the fact that we were complaining and begging for any place just to lay down until our room aired out as both my boyfriend and I felt overwhelmingly sick from falling asleep and having those fumes leak into our room. The treatment by the customer service staff and upwards was absolutely atrocious and I will never ever sail with Norwegian again. when I complained to customer service once we came home, the first time, they lost our claim and said they had no record and then the second time I filed they offered us onboard credits for a future cruise. My boyfriend and I lost one whole entire day of our cruise (while in Bermuda) due us feeling so ill and the next day we still had headaches as even when we went back to the room that night after letting our room air out it’s still had a faint smell of polyurethane. The cruise would have been nice had we not had any issues and had no need for customer service but I feel the true measure of a company is when you do need customer service and they shine showing how much you as a customer means to them. Norwegian does not care about their customers and if you have a problem they do not care, they already have your $’. I will say our maid and the bar service and deck service was phenomenal. Supervisory up, was horrendous
