This was our third cruise on Silhouette and took us to the Azores Madieira Tenerife and Lisbon. We thought the food and service were excellent. Our main grumble is the same as previous reviews in that there are too many passengers on board when the ship is not in sunny climates. On the way to the Azores we had to vere a different course to what was planned due to the remnants of a Carribbean ,this meant the weather was not good enough to sit outside with the result everyone was in public rooms . There was no spare seats anywhere and obtaining a table in the Ocean view dining area was very difficult.Because of this we chose to have several lunches in the grand dining room whi Ch proved to suit us better. Another problem with the overcrowding was when we had our boat drill in the theatre it was impossible to exit due to so many people waiting for lifts.Celebrity class there ships as luxury ,in luxury I do not expect to have these problems and yet they are still going to add more new cabins in the upcoming refit. Mont seems to be the main thought in Celebrity's motives.
Very spacious cabin at how of ship overlooking the helicopter pad. Good storage space and decent size wash room
Service in the main dining room was excellant especially our waiter and his assistant, the wine waiter was excellent with his advice and choice of wines. The ocean view cafe had a marvellous choice of food but the overall ambiionce was ruined by the over crowding and difficulty in finding a table. The solarium area is beautiful but again obtaining suñ loungers was not easy.
