I wanted to try a Norwegian cruise Line and thought that the Escape had everything to offer. Canada and New England was a perfect choice, especially if you're new to cruising. Great Ports , Portland, Bar Harbor, Saint John, and Halifax. We especially liked Bar Harbor, where we tried Lobster roll, a great local dish. The ship had everything to offer, great entertainment, excellent food choice. It was a big ship but never felt crowded at all. I would definitely go again. As this was or first NCL cruise we booked again.Bar Harbor was a tendered port, with a very efficient process from getting to the site off the ship. The daily activity schedule had a lot of stuff for everyone, so you always had something to choose from. We preferred eating at a main dining room, as the buffet was always busy. Overall great service from Norwegian cruise line.
