A Wonderful and memborable trip with out two sons and grandsons. Our 4th cruise, sons 3rd cruise and Grandsons (ages 5 & 6) first cruise! Justice is/was in a cast and the crew of the Grand Princess took very good care of us and him. From the time we got out of the taxi to get on the ship and until the time we left the ship at Fort Lauderdale. They were very helpful in all aspects of him and us getting around and helping him with his buffet meals. I also am Celiac and was so impressed with how they really made sure I was eating gluten free. I asked and was told I was the only Celiac on the ship that cruise! The Grand Princess is truly a Grand ship beautifully decorated and quite elegant. My only complaint was that we could not get any chairs by the pools. Lots of towels laying on the deck chairs but no bodies. And with two grandchildren wanting to be by the pool it was hard for us. The staff in the Pelican Club (kids club) went beyond their duties I am sure! Taking extra care with Justice and his cast. Although he could scoot around on his bottom faster then they could walk!! We chose the obstructed view cabin. IT is approx 168 sq ft. We like a bit of natural light and spend most of the time on the decks. That was plenty big enough for us. We hardly spend time in the room anyway. Just to change and sleep. We found the bathroom and closet big enough. We had ample drawer and shelf space. The only draw back is that they put flat screen TVs in the room on the shelves where the bigger TVs were but they placed them near the back so laying in bed you cant see the bottom 2" of the TV screen. They just need to be moved ahead a bit! But a very clean room, excellent porter service. No complaints here! We are debating to take the Western and Eastern Caribbean next year back to back. Or maybe the 10 day Mexican Riviera or 14 day Hawaii. Decisions! Decisions! Decisions!
