Great cruise but sadly lacking in entertainment in World Stage theatre nightly

As we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary it had all the places we wanted to visit.

Very disappointed with the entertainment in the World Stage theatre nightly. We expected live cabaret/Broadway type shows. It was a 23 night cruise and we had to endure some of the pitiful acts/artists i.e. juggler, magician, comedian. People left the theatre every night after a couple of minutes as it was so boring and headed to other entertainment lounges which were very good.

A noticeable lack of activities during the day for the older age group apart from computer courses.. We thought there would have been more outside activities such as deck quoits, mini golf or carpet bowls.

The Cruise director was incompetent and lacked initiative. When approached about anything he always had an excuse and said would get back to you but never did, NOT good enough. For these concerns we would not recommend Koningsdam and would not book with Holland America again.

Cabin was excellent, lovely shower, comfortable bed. Great cabin stewards. Very grateful we were upgraded.
