I chose this cruise because of the awesome ports and wanting to give MSC a try. The price was really good too. Embarkation was extremely quick and smooth. I had a balcony room on the 14th floor. Spacious room with the smallest shower I have ever seen. This was my first solo cruise and I enjoyed it so much that I already have the next one booked.

The ship is absolutely beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly. I had heard that the food is just okay and I agree. I didn't do any specialty restaurants. The cruise critic meet and mingle was great. The following day there was another get together for travel agents as well as a question and answer session with the captain. I saw the captain alot. He was very nice and took lots of pictures with people. The excursions were very nice and occurred just as advertised. The transportation for the one in St. Thomas was very uncomfortable. Puerto Rico and St. Maarten were well organized and comfortable. The costumes and talent in the onboard shows was awesome. Show content was a little weird at times. Pole dancers at weird moments. I heard two really good singing groups island notes and the magic duo.

Disembarkation was a complete nightmare. The price would have to be really good for me to try MSC again.
