I live close to the port, and have taken NCL cruises at least 8 times, both from SC and Fla. I did the 2018 Sun cruise to the Bahamas last year, same as this year for 2019. It wasn't as good a cruise as the last one due to some obvious changes on board.

Le Bistro was so good in 2018, we used all our specialty restaurant credits at that fabulous French place. However, this year, it's obvious they changed chefs. Last year, they had wonderful cone appetizers filled with amazing delights & this year they were not on the menu. Last year, the Steak Au Poivre was awesome. This year, the meat was good, but I've never seen a green peppercorn sauce that was brown with no green peppercorns at all and it tasted like burnt buerre. VERY much changed and went from 5 stars to 2, and I wasn't the only one onboard to also observe the changes. Even the staff knew about it. Now my favorite is Cagneys. Cheese plates that once were available were not found anywhere, as I used to love blue cheese, brie and mixed of cheeses for dessert. Last year, had them all. This year, it was cubed cheddar and another cubed white cheese.

Another downhill thing from 2018 to 2019 is the live music. Last year, the bands at the pool were amazing and you could find music most anywhere during the late afternoons or evenings/nights. This year, I could only find the piano player once, and there was never live music at the Atrium bar nor the Champagne bar, except maybe once that I missed? I was forever missing the musicians's very short 30-45 minute venues whereas last year, you could find them and actually listen to music several places within a time frame.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Porthole Window

Cabin OG

Cabin was more spacious than I had anticipated. Plenty of closet space, hangers and drawer space. Glad there was a couch there to sit on during relaxation times.
