For my first cruise, I selected a good one. I was traveling with three other adults and we all had an amazing trip. I was a newbie but the others had sailed 4 or 5 times previously and that was very helpful to me. The ship was very clean and the staff was constantly working to make sure it stayed that way. The cabin was on level 6A. It did not have a window or balcony but that was not a problem. I would make the same choice again. The dining options were great. It took a day to figure out which dining venue was best for us...... we settled on one of the larger, more formal dining rooms, The Palace and The Crossing. The buffet's were always available and you could dine inside or outside, 24-hours a day. The service was impeccable and the food options were great. The on-board stage shows were very well executed. The performers were talented and everyone seem to enjoy the shows. Having bar service in the auditoriums prior to the shows was a surprise and a very nice touch. The only negative I would mention is the smoking in the casino. At night when the casino was full, and many people were smoking, it was very strong. As or the ports and excursions, we did not participate in any of the excursions. The ports included Key West...... enjoyed it and would do it again. The private island was a lot of fun. Although it was a lot of people on the beach, everything was well organized and flowed well. The food was good on the island as well. Nassau Bahamas.......was disappointing. We found it to be dirty and crowded. Every gift shop had the exact same items to sell. I regret not doing an activity in Nassau because the water was so beautiful and I wanted to enjoy it. We did travel by ferry over to Atlantis and that was amazing. So glad we did that. I would love to return to Atlantis one day. From the moment we arrived at the port terminal to the moment we stepped off the ship, Norwegian made sure every detail was covered.
