Convienence. We could drive to Galveston, Price and we have had good experience with Carnival in the past. Let us start with saying the staff was very good. Everyone was very congenial and helpful. The food was mediocre. In the buffet you had to touch food to make sure it was hot. Much of it was cold.The directions and markings on the ship were somewhat confusing. The cabin was sufficient. The shower was alot to be desired. It left water on the floor no matter how low you set the water pressure. Embarkation was good but disembarkation was an absolute disaster in our opinion. Took over 3 hours to get off the ship and to our car. We will try to avoid Galveston again. Entertainment was ok about a 6 on scale of 1 to 10. We did not do any shore excursions. The price was cheap but the crowd on the ship was somewhat rowdy and loud and coming back late at night loud in the hallway. Would not go on this ship again.
