Way Better than expected!

Review for the Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

We chose the cruise for the timing and itinerary. We doubted our choice because of the size of the ship. While we still prefer the 2500 passenger size we didn’t feel completely overwhelmed by the size.

We did however hate the bed...my husband is 6’2 and his feet stuck over the edge of the curvy design so he ended up sleeping down the middle...not so great! We also really missed the promenade deck. We still love NCL and will stick with them, but probably not on the Epic again...but only for those two reasons.

We loved the entertainment! We used our three specialty dining reservations at the spiegel circus tent. Contrary to past reviews the food was very good and the entertainers took our breath away. Amazingly talented! We also went to Cagneys and Le Bistro...both of which were very good and didn’t disappoint.

Cabin Review

Cabin BE

Again...the bed is toooooo small because of the curvy design for anyone over 6’. The cabin is cramped and the shower/toilet design is a bit whacky bit we didn’t stay much in the cabin. The sofa bed is not comfortable for sitting and reading and I can’t imagine how crowded it would be with a third or fourth guest! Ugh! For those reasons and the lack of towel animals and a promenade deck we won’t chose EPic again...we will happily book a different NCL ship.

Port Reviews

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Beautiful city! We just walked and walked!

Barcelona

My favourite city in the Med! We have been there before but did the hop on hop off at the dock. Then we walked and walked! Do be aware of pick pockets...we are always careful and have never had any problems but be cautious! Don’t let them spoil your visit to a beautiful city
