Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

We enjoyed the places we visited. Our stateroom was quiet and well serviced. We enjoyed meeting different people at meal times. The staff were invariably friendly and helpful. Provision was made of a meeting room for an informal church service on Sunday evening.

BUT

We found the number of people on board a bit much and would consider a smaller ship therefore another time.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

Quiet and comfortable with a friendly steward.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

A bus 25 runs from Norreport in the city centre (and also 27 from Osterport) to "OceanKai" very near to the cruise terminal. It was a bit crowded with passengers and luggage on the way back.

Rostock (Warnemunde)

A pleasant port to walk around with a beach about 20 minutes walk from the ship

Tallinn

The old city is very accessible from the ship on foot. We were moved by a museum on the Estonian experience during and after WW2, very well presented.

Helsinki

Another city which is accessible by walking from the ship.

Stockholm

Actually Nysahaven, a port some 20 miles from Stockholm, very pleasant to walk around with a chocolate shop and helpful tourist information

The coffee is not great - no doubt to induce us to buy a speciality instead. It was a bonus to find an urn of chai masala in the Garden Cafe for breakfast, although it wasn't always hot.
