Viking Ocean Cruises excellent in Customer Experience. We also had the pre cruise excursion that was outstanding in experiencing all that Athens had to offer. The staff that Viking provide at the hotel were well organized and beyond cheerful. The Athens Hilton was an excellent hotel with an excellent location to walk and explore the city on our own as well as the provided Viking Excursions. Once on board, the ship was a delight as there are many place to relax and enjoy the cruise. the cabin was terrific as they all have balconies and are an excellent size. The ship was so nice we regretted that this cruise did not have enough sea days to fully enjoy the ship.

The restaurants were exquisite and the buffet was delicious. We will probably eat in the restaurants more next time we cruise on Viking.We loved the contrast to the big Holland America and Royal Caribbean ships we have been on in the past. This ship was more focused on where we visited as reflected in the food choices and the lectures.

This cruise set the bar for what our future cruises need to be like. I thoroughly enjoyed all the inclusions and small touches like free umbrellas when it was raining and free bottles of water for every excursion which was also included.
