This was my first cruise. After being delayed by 2.5 hours with a Tui flight we joined the ship 30 minutes before departure. On boarding we made our own way to our room and after paying £48 for a specified cabin with a double bed. We were disappointed to find 2 singles.
No time for photographs on boarding. All the restaurants were shut, so after a journey time of 9 hours we went upstairs to our only choice the buffet The captain and team knew some flights would be late joining the ship but nobody at TUI cared.
Arriving in the Islands buffet we were presented with 2 stale cold dishes of vegetable curry and o e dish of cold rice.
Cabin Review
Tired cabin. They have a sofa next to the bed which is unnecessary and too big for the space available. Bathroom stink of rotten eggs.
Port Reviews
Palamos
Pretty little town nice beach. Great shops. Easy walk from.port to town
Villefranche
Train to Nice and Cannes 7 minutes from Nice Rail station. Do not bother with TUI expensive tours. No need!
Florence (Livorno)
Took the tui trip. 60 pounds each. 90 minutes only in Pisa. Beware lots or eastern European pickpockets in Pisa. posi.g as tourists.
Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)
Standard Spanish city. Easy walk from the ship to town
Naples
Got the train From GARRABALDI to Pompei. Did this ourselves. Very cheap and easy on the train. Long quee to get Pompeii tickets. Book early and online for pompei
Rome (Civitavecchia)
Took train to Rome. Walk 15 minutes to station. Try and buy rail tickets In Advance as long quee at station. Fast train 19 euros each way 42 minutes. Slow train 90 minutes.
Leave plenty time for.return journey and make note of bus station for the bus back to the port. Tui rome trip is a RIP off
