Wanted to visit Alaska for years for the scenery. This cruise was everything we could have hoped for. We did a Rockies extension beforehand and that was a great idea as we made good friends on that part of the holiday who we were able to meet up with on the ship. Our stateroom was very roomy 8019 and we had complimentary laundry service which was very useful. Staff on board were brilliant and we can’t fault any aspect of the service. Food was excellent, although there could have been more variety of potatoes available at dinner. Attended two talks which were very interesting and a couple of shows in the theatre. Excursions were very good value for money and not too crowded. As usual they were well organised. An excellent cruise which enabled us to enjoy our holiday of a lifetime. We’re already booked on another ocean cruise next year. Thanks Viking!

Cabin Review

Cabin Junior Suite

Very spacious. Able to have a telescope on a tripod in the cabin permanently to birdwatch without it ever being in the way.

Port Reviews

Icy Strait

Good place to wander around on your own for a couple of hours. Not crowded and some interesting shops.
