Sail Date: Dec 2018

We choose this Mediterranean Cruise during Christmas, because the ports were breathtaking historic cities, quirky landmarks and we were blessed with great weather and smooth sailing and New Years CELebration in Rome...with all its sea;lrh of monuments and civilization history + the bonus of a visit to St. Peters Basilica to assist in the POPE"s TEDEUM ( Vespers SERVICE).

The Mediterranean is a sea of cultures, religions, traditions, diets and languages that shared history. Viking has wonderful ports of call that allow you to explore that region in a very unique way. For example going into Florence from Livorno, extending your stay in Rome or Umbria. visiting Monaco and docking infant of the Casino and in that beautiful harbor facing the Rock.

You can travel the landscape of the beautiful sea and energy into the lives and culture of its people in the wonderful vessel with its elegant viking designs.
