High marks for Norwegian Cruise Line! The ship was wonderful, the service was very good, and the scenery was tremendous. It was a great way for my wife and I to celebrate our 25th anniversary. A few minor annoyances worth noting: 1) There aren't enough elevators for a ship this large, so plan on waiting several minutes before one becomes available; 2) Every time you walk onto the ship or into a dining area, a staff member with hand sanitizer will chant, "Washy, washy, happy, happy," which gets old quickly; 3) The daily menus for the main dining rooms aren't posted in the on-board app or shown on one of the ship's informational TV channels, so you won't know what's being served until you go to the restaurants; 4) Specialty restaurants are VERY expensive, with prices significantly higher than other cruise lines; 5) The ship was only in the Ketchikan and Victoria ports for about 4 hours each, which doesn't leave much time for sightseeing -- not to mention that we didn't arrive in Victoria until 8 p.m., when it was dark and places of interest were closing.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MX

Much roomier than an interior cabin at a reasonable price. Our balcony provided a great place to enjoy the sights of Alaska.

Port Reviews

Victoria

The ship arrived after dark when everything was closing, and was there for less than 4 hours.

Ketchikan

Pretty scenery, but not much to do.
