Trip Details
  • Sail Date: Sep 2019
  • Destination: the Bahamas
  • Cabin Type: Owner's Suite

Wanted to try the Mariner again after 11 years. Booked an Owners Suite # 1628.

Overall found the ship in fair condition. The balcony for our room was not in good shape.

Furniture in our room was very old. Looks like the only thing replaced during the refurb was the carpet.

As we send a lot of time in our room, will stick to sailing in full suites on an Oasis Class ship.

Room attendant had a total of 15 Suites and Balcony Cabins. Our cabin was never completely straightened or cleaned. Royal needs to cut back on the number of cabins for their attendants.

Suite Lounge was very nice and never over crowded. As we were in port everyday, 2 days at COCOCAY, had to eat lunch in the windjammer as the dining room was never open.

Breakfast in Chops was nice. However, the room was drab and windows were very dirty.
