Based on reputation and reviews, Viking were the obvious choice for our first cruise. Having chosen the Rhine Getaway River Cruise, we were not disappointed, it was better than we expected. Great organisation, flights and transit to ship were faultless, staff and crew were welcoming and very helpful. The Tialfi was clean, comfortable just the right size to be immediately at home with. Food excellent with ample selection and service. Shore excursions were well planned and executed with plenty of 'me time' to explore on our own if that's what you want. The cabin was clean, comfortable and we were looked after by the service staff to a very high standard. No complaints whatsoever!

We are so impressed with the Viking experience that we are going to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary on a Danube cruise this coming August. Can't say more than that and have no hesitation in recommending the to like minded people, be they new to river cruises or experienced.
