The whole point of this trip was to see Canadian ports. Norwegian massively let us down. Although there was only supposed to be one tender port, without explanation, there ended up being three, two of which the captain claimed the weather was too rough to visit. It didn't seem that windy or wavy to the passengers, and everyone on board was bummed out and bored. Other cruise ships were docked at the ports in these locations, but apparently Norwegian didn't consider this a priority. We would not have booked this cruise if we knew such an outcome was a possibility, yet other than a half-hearted apology, Norwegian has as of yet done nothing to compensate us for a ruined voyage.

This ship was not made for three consecutive days at sea. All the dining venues were severely over-crowded, old people were eating at the buffet standing up, good luck getting a drink at the bars even with the drink package, and the only additional activities they added were for-pay ones such as shopping and gambling. Every spot on the ship was a zoo, as passengers were meant to be away on excursions instead of being corralled on board with nothing to do for an endless period.

The food was edible but uninspiring. I didn't even gain weight as there was no temptation to overeat. We did enjoy Teppenyaki, Le Bistro and Moderno that were a small cut above regular dining. The entertainment was quite good, other than two of the evening shows being by one man, an Irish singer who was only mildly comedic the first time. I thought we were supposed to see Blazing Boots, but it didn't happen.
