Chosen based on itinerary, but far too much tendering and arriving last in ports visited by multiple cruise liners, meant very little time in ports, especially when ship choose to use third party tenders. Queing for an hour to get a tender ticket at 7 in the moring only to queue another hour to leave the ship at 9 and 4 hours later queing again for a shore tender to return.

Another example, arrived Santorini last of 4 cruisers, meant 8500 passengers ashore all waiting to get up to the town via a cable car that took 36 people every 5 minutes.

Also, "gift certicates" issued to your cabin are not gifts at all, but thepreviously awarded on board credits given when one booked months earlier. Additional "inaugral spa gifts", given by the spa not honoured when presented.
