This was the second week of our Back-to-Back on the Conquest. We love the crew, especially our room stewards, Dan and Muzaki! They did an outstanding job both weeks as they cared for our cabin and requests. The waiters in the Monet Main Dining Room were excellent. Sherwin, Wendell, and Leila made every evening special. All of the wait staff in the Monet were great at breakfast and brunch also. Customer service was very helpful, as was the excursion desk. Entertainment was fun, from evening shows (even if aimed at a younger crowd!), to the musicians throughout the ship every evening to the Mardi Gras party on the last evening. BTW - We LOVE Carnival's Groove for St Jude's parties and donation opportunities. That hospital for children with cancer does incredible work! I really hoped this was a GREAT GROOVE!! The food in the MDR was great with a wide variety, and lunch at Guy's Burgers and the Blue Iguana is always fun on sea days. We started the week at the The Point steakhouse on embarkation day. We ordered filet for my DH and lamb chops for me. WOW cuisine!!! Lovely evening! Worth the upcharge for sure!

Great Cruise!

Cabin Review

Cabin 1009
We love the storage in the Conquest class cabins. There is plenty of room to organize our clothes even for a two week cruise. Great use of space!

  • Culinary Tour
We booked the Tabasco' Chef Maestro Cooking and Tasting tour. This may be the best experience ever on a fun tour!! Chef Luis is a hoot - very entertaining while obviously a master chef! We took simple ingredients and with his instructions, mad an appetizer, main course, and dessert that were all fabulous! Add the special margaritas and it was phenomenal! Another one we will do again!!

The Amphibious Bus Land and Sea Tour was really fun. After a short tour in town, we rolled into the sea and cruised over shipwrecks. The water was so clear we did not even need to watch the below bus camera monitors to see the bottom. They then fed the fish and an unbelievable number swarmed around the bus - tiny ones to 24' long ones! Gorgeous! We then stopped at a resort for a short opportunity to get a drink or walk on 7 Mile Beach. We would do this one again!!
