This was our first cruise and we wanted to get an overview of cruising at a reasonable cost. We were looking for a cruise out of Venice to visit the Greek Islands.

We absolutely loved the cruise we found the ship to be really well organised and embarkation and debarkation were smooth and quick. I cannot understand the negative reviews that I have read on this web site, it is an international clientele with a majority of Italians but that was to be expected. There is as smoking area outside the restaurant on the top deck but this caused no issues. The public areas of the ship were beautifully clean and the service was very good . The theatre entertainment was first class and the energy of the dancers is amazing. We met some lovely people who have become great friends.

A couple of negatives, the food was not brilliant, just ok, we never went hungry but you had to be careful with your choices at dinner and the buffet restaurant was a bit hit and miss.
