Norwegian Sun Cruise Review by emast
- Sail Date: September 2019
- Destination: Bahamas
- Cabin Type: Balcony
Embarkation was smooth.
We had a balcony cabin 0225 which was nice, but the location wasn't the greatest because we were under the pool deck and could hear the party at night and them setting up chairs early in the morning. Our room steward didn't talk much but was helpful and kind.
The food was "ok" . We had a meal at Cagney's which was our best meal. We had had breakfast one morning in MDR and enjoyed the experience .
The staff in the MDR were awesome!!
We stopped in the Keys, Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau. We really enjoyed Great Stirrup Cay. When we stopped in Nassau we booked an excursion for Blue Lagoon. We really enjoyed our day there! Beautiful water and being able to see dolphins up close without having to pay extra.
Disembarking was interesting. We did self assist and were some of the first in line. But they had a completely new process with passports. It was a facial recognition and it started messing up soon after a few people went through. Thankfully we were at the front of the line and were able to get off quickly. Not sure how it was going to go for others, cause it was SLOW.
All in all a wonderful time!
