Sail Date: Aug 2019
Cabin: Balcony

We chose this cruise as our honeymoon cruise because of the itinerary mainly that it started in Barcelona with a wide variety of stops from Monaco to Mykonos.

Embarkation had a slight glitch as the ship's systems went down temporarily, but it didn't take long for us to get into the ship.

The ship is not very big and it was easy to figure out where we were going.

Cabin Review

Cabin BB

We upgraded from a porthole cabin to a balcony cabin prior to the cruise and it was worth it. The balcony was a good size able to have two chairs and a small table. It was great seeing some of the cities from the balcony and enjoying a glass of wine.

The cabin itself was a good size, but it always seemed to be cold, no matter what setting it was on. The bathroom was good. Nice hot shower, good for two people. The toilet was separated by a door which was good. Enough space for clothes and storage.

Port Reviews

Loved this city. We stayed two days prior to our cruise and it just wasn't enough. We had our own private tours to Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia. Well worth it. We also took the hop on hop off bus and saw many other sights. Walked all around this city. Would definitely love to go back. The Metro is easy to use. We recommend the Two Hotel by Axel and Wellsness Spa3.

Florence (Livorno)

We went with a small group excursion with Italy Tours. Very good. The guy was friendly and helpful in explaining some of Florence's main sights, giving us about two hours to explore on our own then moved on to Pisa where we were for about an hour.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

beautiful just like I seen it on TV

We explored Mykonos town on our own and then took a taxi to Elias Beach and hung out, while enjoying the trip thru the countryside as we got there.

We took a tour on an old pirate ship to see a volcano on a nearby island, then we took the cable car on the main island to go up into town. Had an excellent lunch at one of the restaurants there. Beware of pickpockets here.

We walked around a little bit of the port of Kotor and then took an independent tour to see the Lady of the Rock and the Blue Cave. A bit of rain, but still a good tour.

We disembarked here and stayed in Venice for two days. Walked all over the place. Loved San Marco square with its cathedral and the Duke's palace. Also visited Lido and Murano. Dont miss the Rialto Bridge. Nice restaurants and stay at the Hotel San Luca.
