I want to start this out by saying the ship is gorgeous and the staff is incredible. I appreciate everything Celebrity tried to do with this ship. To me, the ship lost some of it's charm though. The reason my wife and I chose this cruise was partly due to it's itinerary, but mostly because we were on the Celebrity Soltice and were smitten hearing about this new amazing ship.

The solstice, although an older ship, had some features that we really liked. We had access to the front and back of the ship for better views, everything was accessible, and the balcony outside the room was nice. The "infinite veranda" was kind of weird on the Edge, the window that goes up and down makes and awful screeching sound, and we didn't really use it. Also, everything was spread out on the Edge, and only the very exclusive top-end customers got access to the front of the ship. Also, everything that wasn't included (The spa, spin classes, drinks above the classic drink package) were almost double the price of the Solstice ship.

The reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the incredible staff and the fact we were sailing around Europe. The intinerary was awesome, and the captain did a great job due to having to cancel 2 ports (bad weather) and finding us 2 different ports so we didn't have to just spend it out at sea.
